Photo tips

All photographs supplied by you will be returned.

  1. If possible photograph outside. If it is sunny make sure the sun is behind you. An overcast day is best.
  2. A 3/4 head shot is better than having a straight on photo as this stops the nose looking too flat. Try to get down to the animal’s eye level.
  3. Try getting someone else to distract the animal with toys or food whilst you take the photo.
  4. The more photos you take the better, as this gives me more information on the character of the animal.
  5. One good clear photograph showing the eyes would be very helpful.
  6. Indicate which photo is the best for a colour match.
